This is so true. When you look back in history at the majority of the other "hated" teams of the past, such as the Man U team of the mid to late 90's, it was due to them being so successful, and most other fans just wanted to be like them. With Liverpool, they now seem to be universally disliked, not because of their success (as they have had so very little tangible success in recent history), but because their fans and the club in general are thought of as complete insufferable meffs, and absolutely nobody wishes they were them lol

That’s the key difference. They may well win the European cup but when you see what the collective of their fans look like I can say hand on heart I wouldn’t want any part of that. Of course I want Everton to win the CL but I’d never trade supporting unsuccessful Everton for being part of that quasi religious, paranoid, attention seeking, popaganda based cult.

just reading that wolves fans were creating fake celebrations that brighton had scored and the RS fans kept falling for it hahahaha

All of them are on their phones throughout the game so how did they not know?
