This season has been nothing but torture, week after week, seeing them jarg their way to the brink of the Premier League and Champions League. There finally looks like there is some light at the end of the tunnel on both fronts.

The most glorious thing about tonight was undoubtedly Suarez, the player the RS hive mind defended the indefensible about him, season after season, giving it to them in spades today. It was beautiful.

I just hope Newcastle pull something off at the weekend and Barca sail through to the final in comfort next week and we can all bathe in RS tears once again.
