Big fan of your posts usually but calling someone a mongrel doesn't have to have anti-Jewish connotations. In fact I'd never heard of it until your post and i doubt i will again.

Alf off Home and Away called people flamin mongrels all the time. I refuse to live in a world where angry Antipodeans can't vent their fury appropriately.
'Yer flamin' galah' was another one.

Thing is they only have to slip once, just once, they keep winning by a narrow margin, by the skin of their teeth, as it says in the King James Version of the Bible "I escaped with the skin of my teeth", i book i hold when I pray every night City win!!!

Common sense says their luck has to run out..... But this feels worryingly odd...

A huge article on the BBC website about if Liverpool win the league is sub-titled, "It'll be like nothing you've seen before."

I look forward to BBC's article about Man City potential league win.

They’ve had incredible luck with injuries compared to City this season. They’ll tell you “but Gomez has been out for ages lad, Trent was out for ages lad” - I’m talking the really important players.

Minutes played this season:

Robertson - 2685
Van Dijk - 2845
Salah - 2734

Fernandinho - 2278
De Bruyne - 834
Aguero - 1989

“If Liverpool come 2nd, no one can say they bottled it, they’ll be 2nd with 90+ points, incredible achievement yadda yadda yadda....”

No. Every bit of luck they could have had this season, they’ve had it. Everything has fallen into their lap - if they manage to screw it up AGAIN, then we’re all perfectly within our right to laugh hysterically at them and boil as much piss as possible.

If they don’t win it the mental hangover will be unbelievable. The stars have aligned for them. One loss, no injuries, offside goals, deflections, unbelievable keeper errors, penalties all the time, City having huge key injuries. If they do t do it this time that group of players won’t believe they’ll ever be able to do it.
