Mastermind Question: who, apart from Dixie Dean, has bettered that record? (hint: only two further players have been Everton's top scorer in more seasons than Tony Cottee in the entire 134-year history of Everton FC).



background to question: these forums need more Cottee-love...he never seemed the fan favourite, somehow (probably because he wore his heart on a Hammers t-shirt)...yet his contributions to a mediocre team were top-class and worthy of nil satis nisi optimum.
