I sure hope he manages to meet his bare minimum expectations of finishing no lower than 2nd in the league and losing to nobody other than Celtic in the cups. Will be following with a keen eye.

I think he would. He's going into a basket case big club on hard times with no money. He'll certainly be a corrector. He's got a big enough profile for a club with a big enough profile. His pragmatism might actually be a good match for "Brendan", too. A perfect siege mentality appointment. His Brexityness should appeal to the natives, too...
