dyche thinks

What a load of nonsense. He can't have it both ways. While here, he spent the entire time bemoaning the fact that he had a small squad cobbled together of players brought in by different managers, and he had to do the best he could to fit them together. On top of that, it's laughable that any top flight manager would sacrifice quality over a desperate bid to showcase inferior talent in the hopes of making a future sale.

For anyone who said our fans don’t post death threats I would invite them to look at DCLs wife’s instagram stories. Horrendous.
Indeed. And it took no time at all for it it be brought to the public’s attention, to be fully condemned by the rest of the fanbase, and is now under police investigation. Please show the same for the board members? Didn’t happen did it?

One is a board of directors and the other is the wife of a footballer on the internet. Can the football club share the info to their story?

Therefore proving if the death threats to the board did happen we’d have all seen them
What channel are they going to release them through? Start an even bigger war with the supporters?

What I’m saying is, based on the way fans act in small times of desperation (death threats with small things) , it’s likely to have happened based on how much anger their was towards the board at the time.

Were the board genuinely fearful for their lives? No I don’t think so, but they could use it against the fans. Releasing the information would’ve caused an even bigger [Poor language removed] storm and would’ve been an escalation of war against the supporters. They simply used this as an excuse not to attend the game.

Short version: is it likely they received death threats through the online space? Yes based on fan behaviour for other smaller events.

Did the board use this to their advantage to escape culpability? I believe they did.

Ahh, the old balance of probabilities v the burden of proof.

However even though it requires less evidence to prove the balance of probabilities, it still requires some evidence, of which other than a fairytale spun by the board members, there is non.

Hence why there was never any involvement by the police or any other form of authority and also why there is no written or photographic evidence either to back it up.

It is and always will remain a tissue of I’ll thought out lies, that the fans will never forget.

You think The board didn’t want to declare war on the supporters ? I mean they did exactly that , released provable lies to such an extent a major football pundit apologised for being deceived and the police themselves said they’d had no reports .

I’ve no idea if they were death threats but the idea the board didn’t want it out there .
