2025/26 Dwight McNeil

Didnt really do much wrong today for me. Got a good shot away. Linked up well on occasion but ultimately part of a team that was stifled in the first half
He's just too slow and too 1 footed. He's also not particularly good at anything, so you almost have to play him as a 10, but he doesn't influence the game enough to warrant being started there.

There was a moment today when one of their midfielders was a metre behind him and he was at most 3m from the ball. The Brentford player overtook him with ease.

This wouldn't be an issue if he had positives in other areas. I.e. keeping possession of the ball like Grealish.

Too slow. Too weak. Too one footed.

He was good for us once when it really mattered, but he really isn't what we need

Utter garbage, not capable of effective games at this level. I don't think he'd start at any other side in the division, same as Mykolenko, O'Brien at right back, Keane at centre back or either of our strikers.

As others have mentioned, that moment in the first half where he had several metres on their nearest player yet still lost the ball within two seconds was an embarrassment.

Absolutely no good in the middle of park when we haven't got the ball. So easy to beat the press as he has no pace, but always trys to press whether the rest of the team has dropped off. Causing a massive gap between him and other midfielders

Like at Forest ? Defence lost us the game today imo.

Looked like he was jogging about down the park again because his dog had slipped it’s leash.
Apparently he has one foot out the door… I’m guessing it’s his left foot.
