Yes his quality was ultimately limited but I think he would have been a useful squad player to keep.

Anything at or above 20m is good business. I think he was a decent player that had his strengths and weaknesses. His head clearly wasn't with us this season so it was time to move on. Another player that if he had pace, he wouldn't be here at Everton. He was fatally slow.
