He was much the same previous anyway. Useless under lampard, turned up with a few worldies under Dyche, outside of that he could take a set piece occassionally.Hence the wording ‘generally’ as opposed to ‘always’
Exactly this.. its like because Keanes been so solid this season that people need someone to pick on. To be honest Mcneil has had a good few games on the road this season, particularly at Forest. At home he has been heckled every time he touched the ball. I would thank him for his efforts as he seems a good lad, certainly not a lad who deserves the way some talk about him.I think people are being a bit harsh. He’s been really poor this season but before that he’s been fine. He is what he is, a bottom half PL player. It’s a bit weird that people want to make out like he’s the worst player to ever kick a ball, will be interested to see who takes over his mantle as the player we have to blame for everything.
He was a massive part of our relegation campaigns, and was the saviour in many important games.
The injury seems to have done something physical to him, and he can't play in a high press system as a result. I genuinely wish him well as he is a player I've never thought shirked responsibilities.
He's done well prior to this season but it's absolutely the right time to sell and the right fee for us.I think people are being a bit harsh. He’s been really poor this season but before that he’s been fine. He is what he is, a bottom half PL player.
