Dibling was poor too but he was ‘kid low on confidence poor’ and could come good with a run in the team like Barry seems to be now but McNeil was poor in a ‘I can’t be arsed to offer for passes, make runs or help my full back way’ which is unforgivable

He's never been great but its shocking levels now, he cant even get involved in games he is that crap, not even good enough to get in promising positions and mess it up, just a total passenger.

Actually used to rate McNeil, good left foot. Was our shining light for a short period when we were seriously poo.

But why in any world are we playing him right mid? We should take our money back if anyone offers and find a player more suited to what we want to do because off the ball today he was shocking.

It is absolutely indefensible putting a player with no pace at all out wide, and on their wrong foot to boot, in the PL in the 2026. Absolutely ridiculous from the manager.

Felt sorry for him, he's been totally hung out to dry.
