It's a bad state we are in, when we are in need of this guy to get back shape-ish for his deadball delivery
Our most creative player is out and we are sucking butt at creating anything. Not a shocker in the least. I get why this guy isn't everyone's cup of tea. He is clearly important in this side. I really very much wish that we were able to try him in this 433 early in the season and we might have been able to save our season a bit and fight for anything at all. Without him we look very clueless.
If we’re so heavily reliant on one player to create anything, which is 80% of the time from set pieces anyway, then that’s on the manager once again.

Yup, bad times when you are relying on Dwight McNeil to dig you out of a hole.Such a slow, plodding nonentity of a player, yet we are seemingly entirely reliant on him creating something.

Not the best but a lot better than most in our side, only one capable of scoring from outside the box in open play and the only one capable of getting it over the first defender's head whilst taking a corner.Mad how much we've missed him over this Christmas & New Year period..

Not defending the manager. We always figure things out too late. Dwight was more than set pieces. If anything I'd blame our striker for not putting away his chances from open play. Dom had quite a bit earlier in the season that he fluffed and he isn't the only one.If we’re so heavily reliant on one player to create anything, which is 80% of the time from set pieces anyway, then that’s on the manager once again.
