Yes. What are you confused about?

We know it's not a better squad than the one 10 years ago though. There's reasons for that.

We picked up 48 points last season which is 11-13th. Poor start to the season but can't see how it can't finish between 10-15th on a similar amount of points for this.

Personally don't see how any manager gets 50+ points out of this squad which leans into Moyes' territory with those squads you're saying these players wouldn't get in.

Enigma of a player for me, he has so much quality in his left foot but doesn't really suit any position. He was the main man today though!

….be interesting if he scores as many as Doucoure did last season.

There’s quite a difference in how they play that no10 role; Doucoure all industry and little quality in possession but the running power to get alongside and beyond the central striker, McNeil superior in possession but not able to get alongside and beyond DCL in the same way. He’ll score different types of goals.

What it does is cause a real headache for Dyche in trying to find the right CM balance behind McNeil.

At least he has options for a change

…he does. He might have to play bingo until he finds the right combination. I think he likes Mangala because he has a bit of quality in possession, so he might persist with him and try others alongside.
I really like Mangala. Strange that Tim had a bad half a couple of weeks ago and has been banished after much early promise. Gana back also really helped yesterday.
The Dyche selection lottery will continue no doubt.

Been massively critical of the lad but playing through the middle is proving to be a good move for him and the team.

2 top goals and put one on a plate for DCL (who missed of course). Didn’t stop running either.

Without his input yesterday, we lose.

….yep it’s a difficult one. It was obvious last season (from post-match comments) that he wants better quality in CM and Mangala gives him that. So does Iroegbunam, but I don’t think Dyche trusts him yet (after Bournemouth and two ‘ordinary’ substitute performances).

It’s looking like his preferred option is Mangala + A N Other. He might persist with Doucoure for now but Gueye might be the better fit.

Lindstrom harmed his chances yesterday, a few well struck set-plays but very poor beyond that. His chance will come again but for now Harrison looks the more likely selection.

McNeil at no10 causing a problem for Dyche.

He did actually use his right now and again. A game me and the lad play, "spot Dwight on is right", be a good sweep stake. A statue of his left leg shall be made. Good honest player, never hides even under Lampard.

Yeh, Harrison will start the next 4-5 without doubt
