We have quite a young team now don’t we?

Patterson, branthwaite , onana, garner and nceil all involved and all 23 or under.

DCL, Beto, Harrison and Pickford all with years ahead of them in terms of their careers.


Just need to stay up, weather this financial storm and then re invest in young players with potential again ….

Players like that Hugo lad from PSG, gnoto etc are the types of players we should be aiming for .

As this is the McNeil thread, we have out wide:

McNeil and Dobbin who are our players, Harrison and Danjuma on loan.

At this time you would probably only want to keep McNeil and Harrison.

McNeil also looks far more effective when driving inside from wide. Makes me wonder if he may be better than Doucoure in the advanced role.

Really? Thought he was ineffective 1st half and came into the match a bit into the 2nd half. Could have had an assist with DCL and scored but passed to the keeper lol

Yep, plenty of time to develop further. Can be a double digit goals wide player if he knuckles down. Sheedy was 23 I think and languishing in Liverpool reserves.

I'm no footballing expert but I'm pretty sure putting Michael Keane on a football pitch is never the answer
