Yep, I shouldn't be surprised tbh because last night was just 2 crap teams. Apart from Garner who will actually try and pick a pass, our midfield consists of 2 crap wingers and a midfielder in Onana who goes down like he's been shot every time someone is near him, then constantly shouts for the ball and when it does come he's either not ready for it or just passes it straight back. No desire to drive St the opposition with the ball at all.
Yeah we just aren’t very good at the minute and that’s that really. Super frustrating. It would be nice to see a young prospect from the youth setup come through or something just to provide a bit of excitement.

We don't have a lot financial room to improve in short term. Goals from open play are one of our problems, we scored only 13 goals in 20 games from those. I hope that Dele and he can help us to get some creativity. But then we need a clinical finisher, DCL wasn't it lately like with the chance against Villa. We didn't have a lot his game, but this was such a big one and we had a few of them this season that were missed.

I’m not sure Dele will ever play for us again, given the financial implications of that and the fact we haven’t a pot to pee in currently.

Every time Onana gets the ball its the comfort pass watched Eze yesterday on several occasions take the ball and drive towards the goal, on another occasion Mykolonko gets the ball 10 yards in their half and both Garner and McNeil both dropped behind him he had no choice but to turn and go back

Could he play the Doucoure role?

I think he drives forward and supports well. He obviously doesn't have the power or strength of Doucoure but he finds space well and can finish.

We also have Danjuma and Dobbin to play left side midfield plus Harrison who supports ok on the right.

Onana is a defensive midfielder, EZe is a number 10 attacking midfielder, he’s also 25 and his number goals and assists aren’t great for a guy who consistently gets lauded as a superstar in waiting

To be honest i don't give a crap what a player is classed as if you get a pass with no one around you and you have space to move into thats what you do , over the years I've seen centre halves do it with no issue not every pass has to be sideways or backwards as we all complain about how many attempt's we have at goal,. players need to adapt and react on each occasion if hes closed down or tightly marked then yes pass it but the ground he should be able to cover when on the move should open up their back 4

I agree yes and Pickford and Branthwaite first out the door in the summer their goals and assists numbers are shocking. Branthwaite should be dribbling past the opposition every week, he’s rubbish. Get rid I say

have no idea why you would respond like that, you have put a player of so called above average talent as only being abled to do one thing on a pitch and cant adapt to the situation that he gets into, i know he is young but there are players his age able to do more than one thing on a pitch when required, what has Pitchford and Braithwaite got to do with it and Braithwaite doesnt seem to be held back when he needs to take the ball forward, if the lad is going to be thought of as world class he cant be a one trick pony

People just hate on Onana, seems a sad trend because he cost 30mil he should be dominating games at 22. Garner has plenty of average games, but nobody says a thing. McNeil and Harrison are wingers and what do they contribute? Both been poor this season. Yet again it’s a small number of fans who will say anything.

Onana had Eze in his pocket in the first game and I’ve seen Onana turn his marker and drive up the pitch and play some great forward passes, not enough granted and needs to do it more.
Not so easy in a dyche team, when you have the worst front 3 in the league in front of you and two slow and wingers and full backs that Hardly cross the halfway line.

But if you can’t see that Eze and Onana are different types of players,
Then I can’t help you
