Playing a lot better. I’d like to see him more in attacking midfield as I think he’s got a goal from distance in him, and someone with more pace on the wing, but it’s working at the moment and he’s locking that flank down defensively so best not to mess with it

I thought he put in a average performance, I've seen shouts that he was 'excellent', not for me. Did a lot of things wrong but also grew into the game and had a good last 25. His crossing from corners is a big positive.

I’m sure I’ll get stick for this but I think for the right centre forward McNeil would be a striker’s dream.

It's frustrating when his crosses are poor. That's his trump card. He should be able to ping it right on the spot nine times out of ten.
I presume he practises his skill constantly in training?

He does ping right on the spot, but there is no movement by the other players to the spot.

Delivery of set pieces getting better - like to see him shoot a bit more (same for the rest of the side that!) - decisions making as with others in the side can be suspect.

Gana also is now playing the role that suits him best, he is no longer playing the quarter back role at the base of midfield... a role he was not able to play.

Very average.

For every good cross there were two poorish ones.

And he should have put Ellis Simms in that time at the end but he didn’t get his head up.

On the plus side he did work hard.

He was offering a tap-in for anyone who could be assed to actually get in the 6 yard box. He did it repeatedly but they still didn't make any effort to do so. Dyche needs to read the riot act on this as we could have had two easy goals if Maupay hadn't just stood where he was with zero movement.
