Sky commentary from that is ace. 'You don't need to imagine it now, just soak it in' - remember coming back and watching it over and over. Goodison felt like the old ground there, every bolt, every panel felt like it was straining to keep it upright. It shook, actually shook. If ever there was a moment where you could lose yourself and think, 'this is where I am and this is where I want to be' it was in Goodison, at that moment. It's why you sit through crap 0-0s against Stoke, it's why you idolise a man who was flawed in so many ways. It's why it's not just about winning the title and why you support your club through bad times. And why those bad times matter. Because now and again you get that. And it means everything.

Amazing post. top stuf

I reckon Dunc would be badly Souness as a manager. Lets just see how he does as a coach in and around he first team first.
I don't think anything else has been suggested to be honest. Martinez hasn't said that he's going to step aside for big dunc at the end of the season. We all want Martinez to stay in the job as long as possible but in 10 years time when he's got 5 league titles under his belt and has just won the champions league for the 3rd year in a row, barca will come calling, and when they do Martinez will join them because that's his dream. And by then if Duncan has been his assistant for 10 years then he'd be very well qualified to step up.

I love the nickname big function. That's a great bit of autocorrect done under your nose.
He could be a very very good coach, if he gets the blend of passion and technical know how right. He's fairly respected, he's pretty imposing and I'd imagine he's pretty strong willed and would stick to footballing principles if he thinks they'll work. Only problem is, surly coaching or management staff don't tend to do well with press.
I could be thinking too hard on this one though.

Duncan's reaction to Ross scoring tonight.
