How anyone can have a bad word against him for what he's done the past 2 games is absolutely beyond me.

He's come in, got us 4 points from Chelsea and Man Utd where let's be honest 1 point from those 2 games we would have been laughing with.

Its only just under 2 weeks ago we were getting the piss taken out of us by the rs yet people are complaining saying our "style" of football has been poor.

He's even said himself he's not ready for job yet has got these team set up more solidly than any manager since Moyes, including the gravy slurping beaut Allardyce who was supposed to be a master at it. And in njth games we've had actual decent spells of footy, DCL looks like a different player compared to the meek timid striker under Silva and everyone is working for each other. That's a solid base to start from for whoever the new manager is. He's made Silva look like an even bigger knob than he already was because he's shown in 2 games that basic organisation will get this team playing to a certain level.

All the while with only 1 day to prepare for Chelsea and another 4 players out yesterday.

They were championing Moyes until these past 2 games now suddenly Moyes is a thing of the past and Dunc is the new British manager for British clubs flavour of the month.

tbf mate I don't think he should be manager, I don't think he's ready and he's said so himself because being a manager is all consuming 7 days a week 365 days a year.

What he's done though is steady the ship and bought the board time and hopefully avoided what happened to Unsworth where they panicked and got gravy slurper in

Absolutely. I’m not banging the drum for him to be the full time manager but he’s done what he can with the resources available to him.

For Duncan these games are all free hits. We are expected to lose, so he can set us up using an underdog approach.

it would be games against the mid to lower team that will actually be the more challenging for him, as he would be expected to get results. He would be expected to actually press for the results and be the team on top. OGS proves this is not always as easy as the “harder” games.

It’s a funny old game, but that is the way I see it.

we have talent. If we work as hard as the less established teams we will beat them.

If we work harder than the established teams we will compete (as can be seen from the last 2 games).

its Something every EFC manager should be employing in their team ethics.
