Have been known to use the wifes after a long run. She's usually 10 mins behind so she likes to call what I do pre-warming. They are effective and you can change from wet gear to dry while having one draped over you due to their natural conical shape.

Though they should never ever be worn outside of their intended use.

A marginally better look than just standing in a standard dressing gown to cover my pyjamas whilst waiting for ones fags in the co op queue. I will fiercely defend myself if anyone tell me it's poor/lazy taste in outfit choice, it's purely functional.... since it's very cold and wet outside, and this fine garment keeps me both warm and dry...That's exactly why I ALWAYS pair it Crocks or sliders, so my feet get soaked and frozen.
