what do you reckon. Probs be a fair placing given we've only played two really good games so far.

the midfield has been terrible most of the games. the defence hasn't kept clean sheet and moyes has struggled with injury and finding his first eleven.

9th playing this bad is quite good, and alot of teams upgraded significantly in the off season.

I'd like to see;

Neville/Hibbert Yobo Stubbs Lescott
--------------------Cars-----------------
Arteta----------Pienaar/osman---Baines
---------Faddy-----------Yak/Anichebe---

Baines could help out in midfield as its looking [Poor language removed] and he looks more proficient going forward than defending at the back. Lescott looks fine at LB, Stubbs has a great defending brain and compliments the althletic approach of yobo.

Players getting fit would drastically change above of course. I'd love to see Cahill, Vaughan and Gravs get back in the squad.

I wonder if pienaar could play behind the front two in more a diamond?

thoughts on a possible 9th place and the above team?

the squad looks right except for neville and osman. Surely they won't feature. Also if AJ is fit i suspect him for anichebe. Anichebe is a great late sub becuase he gives us that extra push. If we have him on from the start then we do not have that late advantage. If AJ is fit it will be him and Faddy otherwise it is the Yak and Faddy.

So with those extra points we should be ahead of the [Poor language removed] and just behind Manure. We give the cuddly toy to rooney and he spends the entire week 24 hours a day trying to figure out how it works. When Arteta was slotted into the middle of the park he could pick his passes away against the metallists there was a spell of about 10 minutes where Arteta was Orchestrating the play against the metalists in the second half, he was doing so from the middle of the park. I just feel as though that he offers us alot more from the middle so for me it would be:
