How can you not just love this guy? Tons of passion, tons of energy, and TONS of skill. And the first yellow was VERY harsh. Whether we keep him or not, nobody can ever say that he hasn't given his all for the Club.

How much did Real pay for him?
And they are willing to let him walk for nothing?

He had potential, hit the jackpot with his move to Spain, and hasn't grown as a player. Sucked his wages up, got a bit of first team football with us, and I'll be amazed if he gets a shot with anyone punching above our weight.
No working back, too much hitting the deck, and the self belief that he can beat every opposition player and their manager who is off the field twice every ten minutes.

A couple of screaming left footer goals is what we got from Bily, so we traverse and tie Royston up with the wages? I want a grafter that'll do his bit every week, not a 4 games a season wonder that only turns up against the also rans and the down right awful.

Utterly false.

I never saw that Chelsea game. Was that a carling cup game? I never knew Bily and Drenthe actually played together.

Well, thanks for going over the rest with a fine tooth comb and highlighting the rest of the faults I mentioned.

Would you like a gold star every time you write something i agree with ?

I pointed that out because people have said it time and time again and it simply is not true. Does he track back as much as some other players ? No. Because he's a very attack minded winger, the kind of player who shouldn't be expected to track back constantly.

He makes plenty of tackles inside our own half and breaks up play just fine with a few exceptions. Saying 'no tracking back' is wrong.

Well, if you are going to hand out mauve circles for what you don't agree with.....

And it gets on my Bristols when strikers have to work back and cover his position because he has taken another dive and decided to stay on his arse.
Not the Everton way. Not the Everton way at all. (Despite the state of finances).

It's not a general lack of tracking back which is the problem, it's when he loses the ball on the edge of the opposition penalty area and decides to sit on his arse while they launch a counter attack.

I forgot we defend with 11 players behind the ball.

So youd rather Osman play on the right or bring in some average joe winger?

Moyes has battered the fans into a defensive coma never mind the players
