I think Rosenborg will beat Fiorentina, they looked decent in the CL, beating Valencia twice and drawing with Chelsea at the Bridge, where they looked better than Chelsea.

Norway's season has just ended and Brann are champions. Their new season starts in March so the Euro ties with Everton will be among their very first games of a new season.

If we get through then presumably Florence are the stronger side of the other draw and we will meet them. Okay Florence will be a tough draw but hold on how many teams out there would have liked to be drawn against us. I bet there any number of teams who are glad they are not facing Everton.

I have both eyes firmly placed on Brann for time being, am pretty confident of a result against them.

Fiorentina would no doubt he a hard game but we'd beat them at Goodison.
 
good point robert. i bet the viola and rosenburg are not looking forward to playing us.

can't we get a liverpoolesque draw like total network solutions or something.
 

fiorentina? are they still that good?

we are at home in the second leg. should be a slight advantage especially if we nick a goal there.
 
They've got some decent players certainly but none that we should be scared of. The likes of Kroldrup, Mutu and Lupoli all tried the PL and failed here. Vieri was a great player but is over the hill now. Likewise Jørgensen is far from the player of old.

They should be more afraid of us than us of them in my opinion. Sure, they're 5th in Serie A at the moment but are 15 points behind Inter and have won just 6 from 16 games.

Like I said, Serie A isn't what it used to be.
 
Great draw, i was crossing my fingers we'd get them but only because i ain't heard all that much about them!
Considering we could have got Galatasaray, AEK Athens or Anderlecht we've come out of it ok.
The cup draws have been good for us this season in all the cup competitions and that seems to have been the case again, and, although Fiorentina or Rosenborg is a step up, we have a more than enough about us to progress further.
Back to Brann, the Norwegian League has entered it's winter break so come February their game against us will be like a pre-season match for them.
They are going to be rusty and lacking in match fitness, easy meat.
