Young played about 50 games for Villa last season, and looked completely wasted come the latter half of the season...I reckon this is all about MON adding depth to his squad rather than a direct replacement for Young.....I think Villa have an even smaller squad than us..add to that the loss of Laursen and Barry, then I see this purely as squad strengthening...albeit an expensive squad player !
