He's a winger and Chelsea have bought him for the Hazard replacement, if Chelsea had a proper DoF they should have gone all out for Nicolas Pepe at Lille who's twice the player of Pulisic if they wanted a young dynamic winger.

Is he better than Salah and Mane, that is a resounding no, he doesn't score much in a weak league and he doesn't have electric pace. I can see why they turned their attentions to Timo Werner, better finisher, quicker and can player in all 3 positions in a front 3 and he's available for a lower price of around £40 million.

Even Sarri was shocked they bought him when asked about him after the deal was done, he obviously didn't rate him either.

Bundesliga is awful, i'm amazed they still get 3 spots in the CL, Bayern's dominance and financial advantage and ability to cherry pick their rivals best players has made the league awful.

I was responding to you saying 'they wanted him'. As if somehow you knew. So I was just pointing out that other than the English press guessing they where because of their coach knowing the player, there was nothing to even suggest they wanted him at this point.
3 years ago would have made sense, a cheap 'risk' IF Borussia Dortmund had been willing to sell. But since then Liverpool have moved on, Pulisic hasn't.

Not sure what the discussion is anyway, Pulisic is a Chelsea player, they paid £58 million for him, end of story really as far as the transfer goes! Not sure where Liverpool even come in to it. They made an offer for him 3 years ago, that is clear, they made a bid that was turned down. Since then, there is no suggestion they where intersted enough to make another offer. You just seem to assume they where still interested but stated it as fact, which makes as much sense as me saying there was nothing to suggest they where. So clear as mud from both of us I think?

That's a brilliant price you got for him, for a bit part player as well, it seems Chelsea were bidding against themselves thinking another club were in for him and it worked out no other club was.

Watzke and Zorc were probably high fiving when that bid came in. lol

they probably where! In an ideal world they'd have liked him to sign a new deal, but when it became obvious he wasn't going to, they did a brilliant job in getting such a big fee considering his contract status too. Then added to that managed to agree to have him stay on loan for the rest of this season. Meant they didn't need to find someone to replace his spot in January. Even though he doesn't start many games at Dortmund, he still will play plenty of minutes this season.

I actually hope he does well, even though I really don't like Chelsea. It just seems his career has hit a bit of a roadblock.

I couldnt tell you a lot to be perfectly honest! He hasn't really been with the first team this season, just made one very very short apperance in the CL. And he has spent most of it with BVB II, and I don't get to see their games, or have time to follow them. He is one of the youngest players with BVB II, so most of the other players of his age will be with the youth teams.

Immanuel Pherai is one of the more highly touted of the youth prospects, he is with U19 at the moment. But if you want to check out the one turning the most heads, you have to go to U17 level and check out Youssoufa Moukoko. But he is only 14 Already captain of U17 and tearing up that league, he has something like 30 goals in 15 games. He has been at U17 level since he was 12.

He's over hyped, but the comparison to Freddy Adu is more of a stretch than what the media is doing with Pulisic. You sound bitter.
