Or that year in 2008, when we decided to go to kirkby. An all the players fukked off an so did the fans. An now AFC everton play in sefton park infront of 29 people an a dog with torrets.

This is the shittest thread ever.

go's an gets the JD out the kitchen*

You might say that but in my opininon we are on the edge of greatness or losing out for many years because of not backing DM. You go and get a JD out of the kitchen* LOL I nearly split my sides! we are at the crossraods whether you like it or not. If we don't move forward this year we are going backwards for many more. Shittest thread or not.

I can picture the scene in 10 years time. In a boozer before the game, conversations turn to what might have been. Remember that team in 2008 that could have won silverware year on year with just one or two more quality signings? One or two...that's all. Remember that same year when we had to cancel a game preseason because we didnt have enough players. Scandalous!!! If we had only got those one or two players then Moyes would never have left that next season and we could have kicked on.

This could be a momentous year for EFC on two fronts.

1. DM gets backed and we win things.

2. DM leaves and we fall away...again.

Which way is it...You decide.

i suspect that decison won't be made by the supporters.

i agree with you, i think we are at a crossroads. last year we defied our yoyo label by finishing top 6 two years in a row, but 2 occurrences can easily be dismissed as a fluke, 3 and people will have to start taking notice.

IMHO last season we could have challenged for 4th no sweat if we had a bigger squad, and the fact that our players pulled off a 5th place finish with relative consistency and a great deal of strain from cup competitions testifies to our club's power. i too hope that our club doesn't fall short of the mark just barely, since it is ours for the taking.

don't get me wrong, i have no delusions about the current size of our club or the depth of BK's pockets, I just hope that Moyes is given the resources he desires, certainly he realizes he's doing great things here and i'm sure he loves the club, but i'm sure the lure of bigger spending accounts and a more tangible possibility of silverware is ever tempting him.

at any rate, dennis stevens is right, we've got [Poor language removed] all to do with the direction of the club, which is fine by me because i trust it in DM's hands way more than my own, and i'm sure everything will work out fine.
