The NBA and NFL are furious, players from both sports have been dragging him all day on Twitter. Lebron James called him a bum over the somehow more nonsensical Steph Curry debacle this morning. Tomorrow is going to be awfully interesting, could see a lot of players kneeling. This is my third season of not watching the NFL but may just tune in for the pregame.
And as above, the MLB joins in. I'm setting the Over/Under of NFL players protesting this weekend at 68.5.
Sorry for the double posting but for British friends does anyone think it would be better if God Save the Queen was played before every kickoff? The only reason they do the anthem in the first place is because the armed forces pay (with our tax dollars) the leagues in order for glorified recruiting commercials. There is nothing inherently Patriotic about a Knicks/Sixers game, if people don't want to stand in protest that isn't high treason. Right types moan about safe spaces but heaven forbid any politics that they don't like seep into their football safe space.

Literally day after it was confirmed that Aaron Hernandez was suffering from severe CTE. Which probably lead to, along with a love of angel dust, him committing 2 separate murders and suicide after being convicted for the first. He murdered Odin Lloyd roughly 15 minutes from where I live.
