Its running like a fine tuned machine remember. So much so that half his staff have either been sacked or quit. I wonder what's going to happen next. How long has he been in? Can't see him making the 4 years let alone 8
Be sound when Nigel Farage Karks it the horrific little scumbag. Shame that plane crash didn't end him.
He just abuses the press that speak out about him, then fox put out story after story about how great he is.How come he's never been properly grilled in any interviews or anything? Theresa May would get dog's abuse from all sides if she dodged taking an interview with Marr etc.
Is this just a British thing?
Totally agree. He wants a legacy. He'll develop an itchy trigger finger, he is desperate to leave his mark, whatever that may be...
Pretty much a British thing, Presidents of all stripes get softball questions and often retreat to friendly media and they don't even have a weekly Question time to get grilled. McCain proposed it during his run and one of his few proposals I endorsed unequivocally! How come he's never been properly grilled in any interviews or anything? To be fair I find PMQ to be intensely embarrassing, however the fact that a president can avoid awkward questioning is utterly insanePretty much a British thing, Presidents of all stripes get softball questions and often retreat to friendly media and they don't even have a weekly Question time to get grilled. Used to think the same myself, that it was just grandstanding, but then I moved to the US and realised that (probably because the office of the presidency also combines head of state) there was an established deference to the holders of the position and they had a build in ability to avoid tricky questions for long periods if they wanted to - I don't think that healthy even for the ones I support. To be fair I find PMQ to be intensely embarrassing, however the fact that a president can avoid awkward questioning is utterly insane
