Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

Unfortunately I think Trump and the GOP are more likely to get better at implementation than they are to have less objectionable policies.
The whole Republican ideology for the last 15-20 years has been shouting at the top of their lungs 'The government doesn't work!'. Now that they have control over all 3 parts of the government(and maybe soon the ultimate checks, Supreme Court), they realize they have no idea what to do. Look at that quote from that ass McConnell. It's NEVER about making things better for people, it's been about obstructing and making sure nothing gets done. Having complete control means they are responsible for everything. Can't blame 'der libruls' for nothing getting accomplished (or even worse, terrible crap like Congress voting to allow your ISP's to sell your browsing history) if you control everything.

I watched a video the other day which was quite an eye opener on Trump,

It was from MSNBC so some political bias expected in the dialogue as any news station would have. But the general message they were selling was that Trump was the weakest president in History and the least important already because every other president in History has had their first big bill passed just to set them up. Even if it is not fully supported they put it through just to back the president, so the fact Trump's failed and he gave up trying to get it through means his entire presidency is affected as a result as he is now weak and insignificant in their words.

There was talk on it also of many reports that he hasn't got a clue what he is doing and part of the failure of the bill was just not having a clue about how it works or the system. Again little bit of political bias in the words i expect to hear but generally it does paint a picture of a man who essentially cannot do the job he has got to a large extent. If he can't do it / doesn't understand it then potentially does that mean America can be run by everyone BUT the president? It is surprising to hear about it anyway.

not to blow my own trumpet or anything, but that was eminently predictable

Indian Nations Send White House Invoice For 300 Trillion Dollars In Back Rent
PastDueJPEG.jpg

Taking its cue from President Trump’s decision to hand Germany an invoice for NATO services, the National Congress of American Indians has sent an invoice to the White House for 300 trillion dollars in unpaid back rent inclusive of interest.

Speaking on behalf of the organization, President Brian Cladoosby said they were very pleased with the Trump administration’s new way of doing things.

“We welcome the President’s novel approach of simple invoicing.”

Cladoosby confirmed that the Unites States would only be responsible for back rent from the time they took over the lease in 1776. Any outstanding balance from before them would be taken up with the British Prime Minister and the French President.

The 300 trillion dollar invoice only concerns arrears, and does not address rent due going forward for which an updated lease remains to be negotiated. If both parties fail to agree on terms to renew, the United States will have to vacate the North American continent within 30 days.

In that scenario an additional cleanup charge would be due as a security deposit was not provided initially.

“Clearly you wouldn’t be handing it back in the condition you received it.”

"Don’t forget—history is not on your side."

A Holocaust survivor attended a public hearing in Sacramento with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Thomas Homan and Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones. Watch as this brave man tells both men directly to their faces that “History is not on your side!”

The man’s full remarks can be seen below, but the meeting was full to capacity with people protesting the recent immigration actions taken by the Trump administration, ICE and the local sheriff. There was a large overflow crowd outside:

Full remarks of the Holocaust survivor:

"Thank you for the forum that you have here tonight.

When I was a little boy in Poland, for no other reason but for being Jewish, I was hauled off by the Nazis. And for no other reason I was picked up and separated from my family, who was exterminated in Auschwitz. And I am a survivor of Auschwitz and Dachau.

I spent five and a half years in concentration camps, for one reason and one reason only—because we picked on people, and you as the sheriff, who we elected as sheriff of this county—we did not elect you for sheriff of Washington, D.C. It’s about time you side with the people here. And when this gentleman [acting ICE Director Thomas Homan] stands up there and says he doesn’t go after people, he should read today’s Bee. Because in today’s Bee, the Supreme Court Justice of California objected to ICE coming in and taking people away from the courts. Don’t tell me that this is a lie.

You stand up here Mr. Jones. Don’t forget—history is not on your side."

Tbh, much as I would prefer no Trump, I'm still kinda hoping that the Russia connections don't pan out. That one political campaign would conspire with a foreign government to change the course of an election is something I really don't want to be true.m

If it happened its massive the truth must come out plus if it brought down the phoney that is Trump then it will be magnificent.
