The sitting president has openly accused the preceding president of wiretapping, and a case is building to accuse Democrats of a silent coup d'etat with their actions against Flynn and Sessions and counter with the power and resources of the Executive branch. They're not reacting like the institutional GOP, which should surprise many this weekend.

If these wiretaps actually happened, seems to be either the Obama admin was doing something nefarious or the FBI suspected the the Trump campaign was. Not good news for the republic at large whichever it is.
Utterly bizarre though that Trump not only drops this bombshell by an early Saturday morning tweet (apparently taking his staff by surprise) but also follows it up with this tweet shortly after

What can you expect. Trump is being attacked by all and sundry and has decided to fight dirty. As I've said before, no one will come out looking good after all this, and now Obama's name in in the frame.......sad really....
Depends how this plays out.
The oniy evidence of the wire tapping I've seen so far is Trump's tweet - he's been wrong before eg Obama's birth certificate , so this may all be a headfake.
Or if it turns out that there was evidence that the Trump campaign had dodgy dealings with the Russian government, leading to a wiretap granted by a court for the FBI, then not sure that would reflect badly on either the FBI or Obama even if on further investigation no wrongdoing is found. After all investigating potential wrongdoing is their job, which a lot were very keen on when it came to Clinton's emails.
Of course if it turns out that Obama really was illegally/frivolously wiretapping the campaign of a presidential candidate then it is a mammoth scandal.
Suspending the H-1B visas is absurd.

He's an idiot, he only tweets like this on a Saturday because his daughter, for religious reasons, can't stop him. It's nuts
And yet we are now all talking about this instead of why multiple people from his campain were meeting with the Russia... people have no attention span and he knows it....
