I doubt he's arsed about completing a year. As he's finding out...running a country isn't easy, nor is it gonna make him popular (especially if you're a thin-skinned bully-narcissist such as Trump). He can probably use this as a means to resign and then cast blame on others, so as to save-face in his mind. Then it's back to golf (something he criticized Obama for playing too much of during his presidency).
