It's a double edged sword that. It also prevents us from ever having a government that represents anything other then the centre party's who refuse to represent anyone other then themselves and their own interests. A disaster like Donald Trump would at least make people think about how they will vote in the future whereas at the moment it makes no real difference if you vote Conservative or Labour here (and don't be fooled by Jeremy Corbyn he represents nothing other then a desperate but ultimately useless attempt to reclaim the party that will 100% fail by the next election). We are sleepwalking into the same situation as America right now and only by listening to people's real (and justified) concerns on both the left and the right will we be able to do anything about it.Although not perfect shows our political system is alot better than Americas, certainly in preventing extremism
I think they need to take some of the heat and emotion out of what they are doing, good or bad. I don't like seeing the USA split like this. We are experiencing some of it in the U.K. regarding Brexit, and for me it weakens the nation........[/QUOTE

"Carping after the event" implies that she has just got her nose out of joint about a minor beaurocratic matter. Neither the huge scope of the EO or the process with which it was drafted/implemented are trivial items and think you are doing a disservice to minimalise it this way.No, on a point of principal she should have resigned if he did not take her advice. It looks however that she was just carping after the event and even then did not categorically say if it was legal or not......
Yes mate, I do. I don't think Donald Trump is the devil who will steal all their rights away. He's a clown voted in due to a flawed system by very desperate people hoping for change that won't come through him. The democrats must take a massive chunk of responsibility for using the only person who could possibly lose to Trump with Hillary Clinton. Trump will be gone in four years at most by the next election (imo he won't last two) and 99% of the things he wants done will be blocked. The main problem I have with the media atm is they are making everything a million times worse by magnifying the problems. Lets all grow up here, Trump might be an awful leader, an ego maniac, a simpleton, a charletan, and a terrible human being but the next Adolf Hitler he most definitely isn't.You really think Americans will get to vote in the future? I don't.
I'm sorry but what do you base this wild assertion (that Americans will be denied the right to vote) on? It's baseless nonsense and sensationalism in truth isn't it? I'm far from Donald Tumps biggest fan but can we please not resort to such immature scaremongering tactics, let's criticise the man and hold him accountable by all means but let's act rationally and maturely while doing so because it's only hurts your argument to not do so.You really think Americans will get to vote in the future? He certainly looks like he puts the booze away like Rasputin.Steve Bannon = Rasputin/Choi Soon-sil

Meet The President Elect
Donald J. Trump
Donald J. Trump is the very definition of an American success story, continually setting the standards of excellence for real estate, sports and entertainment. In New York City and around the world, the Trump signature is synonymous with the most prestigious addresses in the world.
Mr. Trump was born in Queens, New York, and is married to Melania Trump and father to Donald Trump, Jr., Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany, and Barron. He is a proud grandfather of seven.
A graduate of the Wharton School of Finance, and an accomplished author – having authored over fifteen bestsellers, Mr. Trump has devoted his life to growing a company and expanding prosperity for his family and the tens of thousands of Americans he has employed.
Mr. Trump began his business career in an office he shared with this father in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, New York. He worked with his father for five years during which time his father often stated, “some of my best deals were made by my son, Donald…everything he touches seems to turn to gold.”
The Trump organization owns some of the world’s top properties, including, among many others, the world-renowned Fifth Avenue skyscraper, Trump Tower, as well as Trump Parc, Trump Palace, Trump Plaza, the Trump World Tower, Trump Park Avenue, and, most recently, the transformation of the Old Post Office Building in Washington DC. In addition to properties that occupy the Manhattan skyline, Mr. Trump owns many of the premier golf clubs around the world, some of which include Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, NY, Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles, CA, Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, FL, Trump National Doral Miami, and Turnberry Golf Club in Scotland. Mr. Trump owns properties around the globe in locations such as Brazil, Canada, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Panama, Scotland, Ireland, and others.
Mr. Trump has been recognized for both his business accomplishments and his deep passion for the country. He has long been a devoted supporter of veterans’ causes, and has been honored by the Pentagon for his commitment to restoring the dignity of the New York City’s Veterans Day Parade after it had been neglected and poorly managed.
Mr. Trump entered the 2016 presidential campaign because he was deeply concerned about the direction of the country. His motto has been to “Make America Great Again” by bringing jobs back to Americans through renegotiated trade deals and a reformed tax code, securing our borders and restoring the rule of law, repealing and replacing Obamacare, strengthening our military, caring for our veterans, and unifying Americans. He believes that the United States of America is the greatest country in the world, and that the American people unified and working toward a common goal can restore our standing around the world as a beacon of freedom, strength and prosperity.
