Like you said, gunfire is basically a part of the ambient noise down there.

Hispanic neighborhoods (probably mostly Cubans/Dominicans--though Mexicans constitute 11% of the WPB population) surround Trump's golf course, and it's the "4th" weekend for Mexicans as tomorrow is their independence day. (Our town has a huge Mexican population and I've heard a few gunshots, or fireworks??, this weekend...). Not saying it was this...just one possibility among many that had nothing to do with Trump.

As we pray for Trump's safety following yet another attempt on his life we should remember this; only two months ago the left tried to blow Trump's brains out on live TV after multiple requests by Trump's team for added security were denied by the Biden & Harris regime.
