US Presidential elections are primarily won or lost by bringing out your base voter and winning them by big enough margins. Very few true independents or swing voters out there. But if the base stretches to the perpheries then the variance leaves an unknown. 'don't want to vote for either' and 'will not vote for either' are two entirely different things. Of that 1/5th you cite the vast majority will still end up voting. The clue is in the name pollsters give them 'likely voters'.1/5 of LIKELY VOTERS didn't want to vote for either
