You know Walz applied to become a member of Congress 4 months before his unit got orders it was being deployed to Iraq right? At the time he put in his application to join congress his unit didn’t know they were going to be given their orders. Some might say serving your country as a congressman allows you to have a greater impact for the benefit of your fellow countryman. I suppose you believe being a military journalist is much more heroic and you’re entitled to that opinion.
