Yeah, been having a good read there. Was defo just a bit of shrapnel. Thankfully it just got him on the ear and didn't get his eye or somewhere more serious. But a shame for the person at his rally who was actually shot and killed and who he hasn't mentioned at all.

Admittedly (sadly) they are so good at this. Republicians rarely lose debates.
When they go into a debate they know they'll "lose", they'll say its biased, threaten to not debate, finally agree, then continuously downplay the upcoming performance. Republican staffers will leak to the press that that their nominee is going to put on worst performance in the history of debates, the press will lap it up and hype it as an upcoming bloodbath. Then after said debate you'll have Trump didn't eat paste on camera praise. He did a lot better than predicted! Kamala didn't wipe the floor w/ Trump, is she the problem? If he's terrible no biggie either. Repubs will just go meh, latch onto one thing the other person said and/or just hammer that he/she was just mean to poor Donald. It has always worked.

States such as Wisconsin, Michigan etc. In 2016 and 2020 the aggregate of polls underestimated Trump's support in Wisconsin by 6 and 7 points respectively(and similar margins in the other rust belt states) All the 'you go gurl!' TikTok videos posted by mentally unstable female celebs are not winning working class whites in the mid West.
