Explain to me why it's not a "normal" house please.

It's not that I don't agree with you, but you usually have a very succinct way of putting things and I tend to occasionally regurgitate your opinions elsewhere.

It could refer to the fact that the Gop have only got a 2 seat majority (in a house of what, 438?) in order to legislate.
And a section of these congressmen are raving lunatic trumpers but theres nothing to be done about them if the majority is to be kept.
They already had to kick Santos out, they dont really have any more cards to play like that without losing power.

A "normal" House would discipline its members for saying wild stuff. This one only disciplines Democrats. The chamber is so partisan that the 2/3 majority to expel cannot be reached short of MTG shooting someone dead on Fifth Avenue, and it's questionable even then.
