Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

I can actually see him toning it down the in coming weeks/months, but not for any sort of benevolent reasons. Either he realizes, or has been advised, that this assassination attempt has presented him with an opportunity where he might be able to swing enough voters by playing it cool through the election. Then once he’s won it he’ll be free and clear to turn everything right back up to 11.
It's the sensible play. And if he can be seen to be sincere in a more calm campaign style then he will swing votes.

And if there's one candidate that can fake sincerity...

What do you think about Ben Godfrey leaving mate, were you a fan of his or did you not rate him?
While Trump was shot from the Right side, to blame it in Ben Godfrey no longer being there would be a little silly at least.
Godfrey however, would have been much more comfortable in the middle and would have probably screwed up Trump’s Photo-op by doing his job and standing in the way of other potential shots.

Just seen a synced video of multiple filmings of the assassination attempt. The shooter is filmed climbing up onto the roof over two minutes before shots are fired. Surely it has to be a set up? The composition of that "iconic" photo as well. That doesn't happen by chance.

To American Toffees,

Please share some examples of how things were significantly worse with Donald Trump as President.

I'm not talking about him as a person as I know most/all will agree he's very divisive and potentially dangerous, but examples of how your own life was worse under his Presidency than under Biden's; taxation, medical, infrastructure, jobs, education, military, cost of living, etc.

If possible, can you mitigate for covid as generally every country was badly impacted and saw energy and grocery costs go through the roof.

I'm genuinely interested in what people needed to go through and how it's gotten better over the past four years under Biden.
Beyond the threat of democracy or the planet, I posted this a while ago.

I've highlighted the section I'm replying to, but you need to stop multi quoting if you have any serious interest in discourse.

First off you talk of the clinton foundation and supposed corruption as a reason Clinton should not have ran. Yet you advocated trump who is now offically guilty of falsifying legal records, he also incited an insurrection that cost lives, he is also accused of perjury, being unlawfully in possession of government records of a highly sensitive nature, obstructing the FBI in relation to russian interference in an election, election fraud, discrimination against people of black ethnicity in renting apartments, defrauding 5000 people etc etc. If you have issue with the clintons, you can't claim you don't care about trumps crimes.

On the Economy, trump took over a economy trending upwards after Obama, his policies are found to have no impact and his tariffs to actually increase federal debt. GDP was around 2% when he took office and around 0.2% when he left. Biden inherited trumps mess at 0.2%, GDP now stands at 3% and prevented a recession with inflation coming down faster than projected and wage growth beginning to at least match inflation.

But we cant talk economy without talking unemployment, trump lost 2,7 miliion jobs, biden has gained 6 million and unemployment has been one of the biden administrations strongest suits. trump also continued to outsource jobs which is something the patriot did prior to his presidency.

Stock market, Biden trending up again, 24% growth last year.

The concept of the US having a worse image under Biden is your most laughable statement, trump was met with out and out protest on foreign visits, a repugnant individual hated for his views and laughed at for his stupididty. Unless you are putin there is not a chance in hell the US image was better under trump.

On homelessness, both Bush and Obama attempted to tackle this, and made progress, the surge began with trump. It began with trump because he is a sociopath and doesn't care about it. (you can probably empathise), please tell me what policies he enacted to tackle this. Biden has slowed the surge and is looking to do more

On mass immigration, you should be applauding Biden's immigration executive order on extending powers during high surge periods, I'm personally not a fan on humanitarian reasons (again, not an issue for you), but he has outmanouvered the self interested trmp republicans who blocked any action at all.

Further to that there are several factors by which Biden would be my preference, you may or may not care about them.

He rejoined the paris agreement, its not something I get in a froth about but if you do care about immigration you better be willing to tackle climate change. An anti-science moron like trump who has never read a book will see the planet burn to boost his bank balance.

Biden is not anti-union and shows emapthy for the working man, both young workers and low earning workers have been the biggest winners in wage growth.

His medicaid expansion, healthcare being an area of abject failure for trump. Biden has lowered prescription drug cost, protected vulnerable people to have access to insulin. All importnat parts of being a politician that don't make headlines in your 'whats my bank balance' world.

The american rescue plan

The infrastructure law

Inflation reduction act

The chips and science act

Despite all this I personally don't consider myself aligned with the Biden administration, I also recognise that the stock we put in a president is exaggerated and many other factors need to be considered, which is another win for Biden over trump in terms of personal in his party, as trump has to routinely change those around him and his administration for a variety of reasons such as incompetance, refusing to be as evil as him or going to jail. It's a very layered situation that requires a lot of reading to get to any level of understanding. But, as Chomsky says we vote against the worst, and trump is the worst. To support trump you either belong to his cult or the very worst aspects of human behaviour appeal to you. Within the democratic party there is empathy and intelligence that goes beyond a low base level cunning of what can we grab for ourselves. In the Democratic party there is less hate, less bigotry and less phony culture wars that seeks to harm vulnerable members of society to create divide. There is less religious fundamentalism in the democratic party and an ability for progressive activism to change positions.

If you stealth reply to me in a silly multi quote format I won't be replying.

Good say sir.
