But you'd expect a stampede of people fleeing the shots, which doesn't happen.
Then again, I've never been shot at, so what would I know?

Not sure who the people in the crowd are giving the 'up yours' to as he's rushed away either. Can they see the shooter? Or is it just the CNN cameras?

Regardless of all that, this probably helps him immensely, so if the shooter was trying to end his chances of re-election, they've probably just enhanced them.

Sounds like Trump got lucky. Shot may have hit the platform and bounced up into the crowd, nicking him on the head as it went.
