Biden age isn't even a major concern.

He surrounds himself with very clever people, not crazed lunatics like Diaper Man.

Biden's mental competancy has always been well overblown. Granted he's not an intellectual like Obama, Clinton or Bush Sr, but he's far smarter than most politicians to have been around as long as he has. He's had a stutter since childhood which affects his ability to express verbally what's in his head. His "gaffes" are seized upon by rivals and critics to try and denigrate him personally rather than argue logically against his policies.

Trump has shown he has the reading skills of a 4th-grader. Everyone who's been around him concedes he has no attention span. His former campaign manager has even said he knew literally nothing about the Constitution, and refused to learn. His niece has written how he paid for other kids to take all his exams for him from his teens onwards. He couldn't point out Ukraine on a map when challenged to do it by a journalist.

He represents the very worst of ths US.

Surely, surely the American people aren't so stupid as to fall for Trump again. Surely not

Yeah that is a very fair point - not that the US has had decent foreign policy values after ceding ground to Kissinger’s brutal and insane policies in the 60’s and 70’s

This is the thing that I truly marvel at. Unfortunately history shows the appeal of the demagogue and the dictator. He’s not the first and won’t be the last.
