Eh? Of all the high profile US politicians physically attacked in the past 150 years or so I can't think of any who were kidnapped and debriefed. Off the top of my head I can name over half a dozen who were shot. Your nightmare scenario of a kidnapping is not happening. We've now seen violence at the event.
