No, what is wrecking America is people putting themselves on the wrong side of a debate just because Trump says something about the other side of it.

That man's grift works because there are huge problems in domestic and foreign affairs that ruling classes refuse to fix. He doesn't offer a fix of course, and will make things worse but denying that there are problems does nothing to deal with them or him.

No one is saying NATO spending is fair and even, everyone knows there's issues. Trump is not pointing out anything new.
All he's doing is creating dangerous divisioin at a time when Russia is camped at NATOs door.

The US are the only country to invoke article 5 after 9/11 and every NATO member stepped up to support the US.
Also the fees paid arent fees, but guide lines.

The division is not caused by the actual foreign policy but by the way he spins it.
Debating military spending in the wake of him inviting russia to attack is playing right in to his hands.

I still don't understand how any "sane" "normal" American votes for Trump. I appreciate the parallels with Brexit in the UK but apart from the odd loon on the Internet and right wing politicians you can't find anyone now that would admit to voting Brexit or much less say they still support it..
