The Austin American-Statesman is owned by Gannett. The slant of outlets owned by Gannett are well-documented as, shall we say, "not woke." They're center to center-left. Of course, if you equate every media outlet that is not Fox News or Breitbart with "woke", you will draw a different conclusion. You will also be demonstrably wrong, with data. I know this subfield well enough to know who does good work, and who doesn't.

Gannett is also in the middle of an ugly strike because the market for such outlets has disappeared, and they are bleeding hundreds of millions annually. Gannett has been slashing staff left and right, and appears unable to pay its journalists a living wage.
The Washington Post would probably rate this claim of yours three Pinocchios, for perspective.
The parallels here between Trump's 'inject bleach' and Mao's backyard forges during the Great Leap Forward are painful. Thankfully, we live in a democracy. We had public ridicule, rather than a cynical decision by leadership to let Mao fall flat on his face, then seize power after the obvious, avoidable disaster. The parallels between the Cultural Revolution and Trump's strategy for his comeback are also extremely disturbing.

I have taught a lot of students with dyslexia and noticed a few patterns in how they write and spell. Also, one of the smartest mathematicans I have ever studied under had dyslexia and he occasionally wrote similar patterns. Just curious about this.

Seems like a lot of work to establish a legend like this poster did, to me. I can't imagine someone doing it without compensation, but then again you all know the local Kopites much better than I do. Can't recall ever seeing one in the flesh around here. Mostly United, Chelsea and Spurs, with the odd Arsenal fan.
I suppose there's probably a bar I don't frequent where they congregate.
A significant % will be undercover reds that are/were here to get on the wind up. The net finds them pretty quick in the matchday threads, and some float down to here to try to get their toxic pound of flesh they seem hell bent on. It's sad, but provides some exercise I suppose.
