An embarrassingly common sentiment around these parts. One clearly detached from reality.

What I don't understand (I joined GOT after Bill left, I believe) is how that guy became an Everton supporter. He's much more suited to a Tory club.

It was a mad one. He was actually quite reasonable when it came to football. Knew his stuff.
But when it came to politics, you could almost see that he was going to take every far right point and run with it.
It kinda encapsulated a lot of what's happened in America.
Traditional conservative, emboldened by Trump, feels liberated and no longer checks their views.
There's no point in fact checking or second guessing anything it's a crap mountain free for all.
With TX Bill, we watched it in real time.

Iirc he’d just lost a close friend to suicide and so feeling anger was an understandable, albeit not desirable, response.

But instead of opening up about the conflict of emotions he was trying to deal with he went on the depression thread to yell at others who were struggling and wouldn’t listen when people told him he was being destructive.
