I don't get google updates, but I'd imagine google aggregates the sites you look at, the info you share, even the stuff you post on here and determine what news you want to read. So if you're getting several google updates that Joe Biden is declining fast while no one else seems to be getting that news, it would suggest that's the story you're looking for. Doesn't make it not true, he's an old man. But it definitely says a lot about where you get your information.

I get my information from nowhere mate. I don't look up American politics and only really frequent about 4-5 websites generally. American politics really doesn't interest me beyond reading others on here talking about it. I google a lot of crap like, nothing about current affairs.

This should prob be in the biden thread but talking about his possible ill health got me thinking.
If he steps down after Jan 2023 (13 months away), Harris could possibly serve for the end of his term and then serve two full terms if elected. If he steps down before Jan 23, she can only serve one full term (again, if elected). So if he is in poor health. he prob won't retire for at least 13 months.

I mean the story mentioned how he keeps losing track of what he is saying, losing balance , falling asleep , not being his usual self etc.

Even if he is president for his full term I wouldn't call it baseless, you can clearly see from even my completely outside perspective he isn't the strong leader that he may have been 10 years ago, which his age would absolutely play a factor into.

I think there's a big difference between reading one article as opposed to "keep seeing articles".
He's 79 next week, too old to be POTUS in my book, and definitely showing signs of aging but I don't think he's shown any noticeable increase in cognitive decline since being elected.
If you were to listen to right wing media here, he's died several times and been replaced by forgetful sleepy robots.

The 2020 election was solely about defeating Trump. Biden was the best, safest way to accomplish that

Used google to search for stories involving the words "biden" and "deteriorating". The "news" I found was a story written as fact in The Express using an opinion piece from the Telegraph as evidence. Cracking journalism with no sources and wild speculation. Tabloids would be jealous.

edit: Since found many other people reporting the opinion piece as a fact based story. Quite amazing how the world works these days

Some of them are even going further than just removing. In Wisconsin some Republicans are calling for felony charges against the non partisan Wisconsin Elections Commissioners, an agency Republicans created half a decade ago, because of the guidance they gave to municipal clerks early in the pandemic. Even though when they gave this guidance no Republicans in the state opposed to it, but once Trump lost the election Republicans there began to cry foul and began claiming the election was stolen. Now their new strategy is to eliminate the agency they created and give themselves full control over voting in the state. It is really scary how Republicans are sabotaging our democracy.
