As unreal and astonishing as this is. The 140 know exactly what they are doing. They don't want to piss of trumps base.

Biden's administration is going to have to implement a better system to verify that people have been vaccinated though. At the moment, for what I have read, the FDA is only providing yellow vaccine cards for hospitals and doctors to stamp. But in the age of technology that seems like a very ineffective system. My hope is that eventually there will be a centralized system that can be verify electronically if someone has been vaccinated. Private companies are currently working on vaccination verification app but another challenge is to figure out for how long to issue proof of vaccination as scientist are not sure yet how long immunity from a Covid-19 vaccine may last. Figuring all this out is another challenge that governments around the world are going have to overcome

North Carolina has an electronic vaccine registry. All vaccines are required to be documented and from training I recently did that includes COVID. I’m sure other states have similar.

Yes, several states do. Unfortunately we don't have a centralized system at the Federal level. We need such a system if we want to be more efficient checking people's vaccination record at places such as airports and other ports of entry.

A federal system would be great, but is unlikely to happen in the US any time soon. The right wing wackadoos won’t have it ...just like they are against national IDs or a national health system.
I have the WHO immunization booklet with all my vaccines recorded. Very convenient.
