I think my biggest take away from this is that at least the kid isn't blindly following her parents political allegiance. Other than that, I'm not sure what good it serves. It won't change her parents minds, might only intrench their views.

I assumed that this close to a vote, the idea would be to try to appeal to the floaters, not reinforce your moronic tendency that turns them off you.

Yep decent folk and competent campaigns would focus on what they consider the good he has done.

Even in the local race here for congress, Republican Darrell Isa is fixed on telling us in his ads how corrupt his opponent is with only 7 days left. Mad thing is the items he accuses him off are the very things he is known for.

Facts, truth and honesty is not something they are good at. Drawing in essential voters isn't either.
