Trump received more votes in California than any in every other state with the exception of Texas and Florida. Sure, there’s no electoral votes really in play for him, but stuff like this affects downballot races as well. Aside from being cruel, it’s just stupid politics from him.

The part of San Diego i live in is a Republican one. More red than blue here. A population of a million and 60% - 40% in terms of red and blue. Its part of the reason Darrel Issa unretired and came back in to try replace hunter as he saw it as an easy seat.

It wasn’t that long ago really that the state was reliably Republican with Ronald Reagan as governor and as recently as 2006 Arnold was reelected statewide.

A lot of the worst hit wildfire areas are mure rural so more likely to at least lean R - even if you don’t think the President should care about the welfare of citizens regardless of how they vote it is just dumb politics.

Yep thats whats so insane. But the sad reality is that not only do Republicans in this state have short memories and try make it seem its always been blue but they complain and complain about how they are being run too.

But their president and their controlling government have done nothing to help them. Their own elected senators and congress men and woman have done nothing either. All they do is moan and complain about the blue side

All the while Trump say a big feck you to them and ignores them.

How anyone would support a party who ignores and belittles their home is beyond me.
 
I've seen few things more totally delusional than that Trump town hall meeting.

"I've got a great relationship with the black community, I've done more for the black community than any president since Lincoln."

I mean... really though?
