Why would they be using an experimental treatment on the president? It smacks of desperation.

Just think he maybe quite bad as there seem some fairly effective and proven ways to treat this at the moment, so the fact they've seemingly not used any of those to go with the unproven treatment just seems unduly desperate unless you were desperate.

Honestly what is the point in this - how in any way does this build any faith in what they are saying?

In my partially informed, but ultimately useless opinion, a 74 (?) obese man with covid, who had to be airlifted, (not ambulance) to a hospital, would have been on oxygen as a matter of course.

They would have set a sat number, say 96, and if he could support that without oxygen, quite simply, he would still be self isolating in the WH.

And even then, you can quite easily measure a sat level, and provide oxygen, in a domestic environment. I have done ffs.

Mad innit? Like although some on here reckoned Johnson had faked his covid stuff, (lol), it was all up front; oxygen, Johnson looking shabite, "is very unpleasant", that sort of narrative.

If I had to guess it would be that Trump is feeling better with the drugs etc he has been given but some of his vitals are concerning the doctors however POTUS won’t let the doctors say that on camera because of his ego so Meadows is trying to set expectations a bit lower behind the scenes and their usual incompetence is adding an extra layer of confusion. But it could be any of a huge range of possibilities atm!
