I think he's going to win re-election. He can literally break any law without reproach and the Democrats are powerless to stop it. Combined with the fact that he is pretty much going straight to jail the minute he leaves office, there is a desperation there that will fuel him and become even more brazen the closer he gets to election day. 2000 eventually went to bush because gore conceded to avoid protracted court proceedings. This time that won’t happen and if the result is still tied up in court on Jan 20, Pelosi becomes potus.

So, chasing up on that idea that Pelosi becomes president, it seems a bit more convoluted, especially if her own election results are tied-up in a recount battle or held up for any reason; if so, she would leave office on Jan. 3rd, and POTUS/VP would leave on the 20th. If that were the case, the senators who aren't up for reelection put the senate president up for POTUS or nominate a POTUS. Or something like that...seems quite complicated.
