I agree to an extent. However, this was the part of the year where things were supposed to get better. The virus might recede a bit in the summer heat, and we could enjoy a bit of return to normality through the summer months after riding out the first wave, and preparing to be crushed by a second wave this fall/winter. The exact opposite has happened. We never got past the first wave. COVID is spiraling out of control, many states are forcing businesses to shut down a second time, the extra unemployment benefits expire in two weeks, and there’s a good chance a large percentage of kids aren’t going back to school in the fall. Things are going to get A LOT worse in the coming months, and there’s honestly no reason (short of a vaccine becoming available inconceivably quickly) for optimism or hope for the situation to improves before Election Day.
According to one poll, he’s now trailing Biden by 15 points nationally, and we’re still a long way from the nadir of this situation. If that really is the margin, forget about individual state polling, it doesn’t matter. That’s the kind of margin that landslide losses are made of.

Yep and the Project Lincoln ad about Parscale probably did help things either.
