Either Trump really did those things or people in the establishment are REALLY out to get him.

I don't know which and I suspend my judgement till a time when I know what the truth is (if there is ever such a time)

(1) Could be true, (2) is true. We will see whether these facts are true, but Trump's undoing will be self-inflicted.

I'm not convinced there is much he could do that would turn 'his public' against him. I've watched US news today before the press conference and they're asking people why they've voted for him and the genuine answer is "to make America Great again " . I'd say We laugh at our political parties but imagine electing a PM on that basis ? Well I'd have said that until last year at least .

The salacious stuff aside the involvement of Russia, that even he doesn't deny now , would cause a constitutional crisis in this country I'm convinced of it and it's caused barely a ripple over there .

Very possible; he gets firm support from the GOP, which craves power, but if that erodes or splits he's in a bad state. And I think the views on his salaciousness is split between people who don't care/like it and those who put this aside/ignore it on the promises of his policies. If he can't make stuff happen, that support could easily erode.

Then again, the economy looks to be up in the short term, and this makes people happy, so maybe he will be smart (he is smart, just his ego gets in the way) and not touch anything and ride the crest of economic success.

The fact that Southern evangelicals support him despite all of the naughty stuff says it all for me.

Oh America...ohhh America how you make the rest of the world laugh....an absolute sideshow but shocking to understand the power this clown commands....joke

Actually, Andy Crouch (editor of Christianity Today) has an interesting take on this, but that's chasing a rabbit we probably don't want to pursue.

Anyways, the short of it is that Southern Evangelicals (and all who fit this moniker) made a pact with the devil when forming the Religious Right with the GOP and don't know how (nor want) to unwind, they're so caught up culturally and politically.

This isnt another episode of the apprentice...this mouthy charlatan will never last the term..im heading to my turf accountant tomorrow...joker
